Rebekah Henry (ASCAP) is a composer-educator based in central Pennsylvania. Her musical pieces synthesize minimalist, modernist, romantic, and popular styles. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Messiah College with a B.A. in Music Composition, where her major teachers included Elisabeth Stimpert (founding member of Alarm Will Sound), Bruce Yurko, and Richard Roberson. She did her M.M. at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where she studied with Robert Maggio, Jacob Cooper, Van Stiefel, and Mark Rimple.
Aside from composition, Rebekah also works as a church musician, a piano technician, and a teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, making applesauce, and studying foreign languages.
